A very nice restaurant! The staff is very nice and the pizza is not round - which is a nice change. The prices are also very acceptable. The desserts are also highly recommended.

Came by by chance and looked at the plates of the others as they walked by. Looked good and so we thought we'd give it a try. What to say No 50,000 different pizza toppings, but top quality. Above all, the size is a bomb. Even a good eater like me struggled. Were there twice in 4 days! Always my pleasure. Prices also perfectly okay (almost too cheap for the size of the pizzas)

Very tasty and authentic pizza. The people who complain here should better get their 5 euro pizza at the kebab around the corner.

I had two pizzas and these were good. What really irritated me, however, was the payment system. Only accepting cash payments in an established Italian restaurant is no longer appropriate in 2020. Before that, I was in Italy for 3 weeks and was able to pay with my mobile phone in the last hinterland in Abruzzo. Only here in the Trattoria Pizzeria Amici is that not possible in the middle of the city? Especially in times of Corona, you should really get involved with contactless payment options. Instead, I get the dirty change from the cold customer in front of me.

Both pizza and pasta are delicious - everything is freshly prepared and you can taste it. Very good wine selection, pleasant atmosphere and attentive, friendly staff. For me an absolute top address for Italian food in Freiburg!

Large, fair and tasty portion. One star deduction because the dough of both pizzas was extremely salty and we woke up several times at night from thirst.

We were there as tourists from the surrounding hotel. It tasted good to us, we ordered a pizza and pasta. The service was very nice too. If you haven't made a reservation, it's hard to get a seat, just outside. If you want to take out pizza, there are long waiting times and a huge queue from the restaurant.

The star is there because Google wants it that way, whether it is deserved is a matter of fact. I've eaten a lot of pizzas, including in Italy and New York, but this one was different. Other comments talk about authentic Italian pizza, any Italian chef at a pizzeria would leave after seeing them. It may be that mine was a special case, but since I had 2 different ones, this can be ruled out, the pizza is not as usual round and according to the norm but polygonal, a not clearly geometrically determined shape, that alone is not a problem but now it was strong burnt and the topping was raw? Yes, that's possible the topping was simply "thrown on" in the end. But to say something positive: if you remove the raw and the burnt, then the pizza was edible. I cannot judge the staff and service here as the pizzas were taken away. All in all it was unique and people order it again at the regular pizzeria. YOU SHOULD CONSIDER WHERE TO EAT 2 TIMES.

Versatile, authentic Italian cuisine. Here you can tell that the ingredients are fresh and that they are prepared individually. Recommendation value: 100%. Any time. The team is very friendly, the atmosphere is very familiar and just as authentic as the kitchen.

Long wait for food. The fish (salmon) unfortunately fried dead. Not bad in taste, but as a cook you should know how to prepare which product for this price.

The pizzeria can be reached on foot in 5 minutes. When we came to pick up our pizza, it was "warm". When we got home, we opened the boxes with joy and huge pizzas came to light that filled the box. Unfortunately the edge was black and the covering was very poor. A Hawaiian pizza had 5 pieces of pineapple on it. In terms of taste, it was by far the worst I've ever eaten. There is one star for the ambience

Really great Italian with a very elegant ambience. The staff is very friendly and quick. Great menu with a good selection. The dishes are all fresh and holistic handcrafted very well. The selection of wines is also very good.

Cozy place, polite service and the pizza we had was very tasty!

Really simple food, nothing special. We were not "allowed" to share a pizza and therefore the second person didn't event get a paper nor knife and fork... Barely English speaking staff, so not helpful when asking about the menu! Wouldn't recommend it at all.

Wow, truly outstanding place. Probably the best Pizza I’ve had in a long time - authentic Italian thin crust. Everything else was great too, the wine, the salad, the service, the price. If this restaurant was in the city center, it would be in every guidebook.

Nice place, friendly service. Casual dress. Laid back.nice pastas and pizzas. Big reduction in stars given due to the fact that they do not accept card payment and had no sign indicating this. Bank ATM around 10-12 minute walk away. Real drag. Get with it owner this is Germany 2018 not Germany 1988!

I had a very lovely dinner here! Stuff was friendly and helpful. Most importantly though: the food was absolutely delicious and clearly fresh as well as handmade. Would definitely recommend.
